“ALLA RICERCA DI ANGUS” – LA NOSTRA STORIA

Grazie per aver deciso di visitare questo blog, ogni persona in più che conosce e diffonde il nostro appello aumenta le possibilità di ritrovare Angus.

In breve, ecco la nostra storia:

La sera di sabato 5 dicembre 2009, il giorno del suo decimo compleanno, Angus si è allontanato da casa, non lontano da Barbarano Romano, in aperta campagna. Pensiamo che possa aver seguito qualche “pista” o qualche cagnolina ed abbia poi perso l’orientamento. Non descrivo le ore di disperazione e la notte insonne che abbiamo passato, quando abbiamo capito che Angus non sarebbe tornato tanto presto e i giorni senza fine che stiamo contando dal momento della sua scomparsa. Come sta? Dov’è? Dove si ripara quando fa freddo e nevica o piove a dirotto? Questi gli interrogativi che non smettiamo di chiederci da quella orribile sera…

Durante questi mesi abbiamo affisso manifesti negli esercizi commerciali di Vetralla, Blera, Villa San Giovanni, Monteromano e Barbarano e anche sui pali nelle zone di campagna e sulle strade principali (Aurelia bis, Cassia, Braccianese Claudia  etc.). Abbiamo ricevuto diverse segnalazioni: Il primo avvistamento risale alla mattina del 6 dicembre, ma purtroppo la segnalazione ci è pervenuta con una settimana di distanza. Chi lo ha avvistato ha riferito di averlo visto attraversare la strada che porta a Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia. Il secondo avvistamento è del 23 dicembre nei pressi di un’abitazione a Dogane, località del comune di Vetralla. Il terzo, e finora ultimo, avvistamento è del 3 gennaio 2010 vicino ad un’abitazione a nord di località Carrozza, sempre comune di Vetralla. Sembra quindi che Angus si stia spostando verso nord, ovvero in direzione opposta rispetto a casa.

All’inizio di febbraio uno zelante cittadino ha pensato bene di denunciarci lamentando il fatto che per scopi personali fossimo lasciati liberi di fare il “nostro comodo”, ma lasciamo a chi legge la possibilità di commentare l’operato di quest’individuo. In conseguenza della denuncia abbiamo dovuto rimuovere i manifesti dalle strade perdendo così visibilità, ma abbiamo continuato a spargere la voce e ed affiggere manifesti nei locali privati. Ogni week end percorriamo le campagne chiamando Angus, nella speranza che possa essere nascosto nei boschi oppure in qualche fattoria in cui ancora non sia giunta notizia, quindi se sentite il nome di Angus urlato a squarciagola, probabilmente ci siamo noi nei paraggi…

Tante persone ci sono vicine e ci aiutano nella ricerca e noi non ci arrendiamo perché CHI CERCA, TROVA!!!

“FINDING ANGUS” – OUR STORY:

Thank you for visiting our blog, each person who visits it and spreads the news, increases the probabilities of finding Angus.

In short, here is our story:

On the evening of Saturday, December 5th, on the day of his 10th birthday, Angus went off from his home, not far from Barbarano Romano, and disappeared in the open country. We think he might have followed some scents and then lost his bearings. I will not describe the following sleepless hours we spent in despair, when we understood that Angus was not to be back soon. We are counting the days on end from the moment he vanished into thin air. How is he? Where is he? Where does he find shelter from cold, snow and pouring rain? These are the questions we cannot stop asking ourselves since that hideous night…

During these months we posted our notice in shops, bars and restaurants in Vetralla, Blera, Villa San Giovanni, Monteromano and Barbarano and on telephone and electricity poles in the country and on major roads (Aurelia bis, Cassia, Braccianese Claudia  etc.). We received several calls: the first sightings was on the morning of December 6^th, but unfortunately we were told only  a week later. Angus was seen while crossing the road leading to the village of Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia. The second sighting dates back to December 23^rd, by a house in Dogane, north of Vetralla. The third, and so far last, sighting was on January 3^rd in the yard of a house north of Vetralla, Loc. Carrozze. It looks like Angus is moving north, in the opposite direction from the house he went missing.

At the beginning of February, an anonymous zealous citizen sued us for unauthorized billposting, claiming that we are left to do whatever we want for private matters, but we leave it to whom is reading this, to judge the deeds of this individual. We were then forced to remove all posters from the roads, but we are continuing to post in private properties and secondary roads. Every weekend we search fields and woods, hoping that Angus might be hiding there or in a nearby farm, so if you happen to hear Angus’s name called out loud, probably we are around…

Many people are supporting and helping us, and we are keeping it up because… seek, and you shall find!!
